Reps. Smith and Hayes to hold telephone town hall February 28

10th District lawmakers invite constituents to participate from the comfort of their own homes Reps. Norma Smith and Dave Hayes are inviting residents of the 10th District to participate in a telephone town hall meeting Thursday, February 28. The community conversation begins at 6:30 p.m. and will last an hour. Residents can participate by calling toll-free 1-877-229-8493 and entering PIN number 14881. Once on the line, participants may select star 3 on their telephone keypads to ask a question or they can simply listen in and take part in instant polls. There will also be an opportunity at the end of the call to leave a message for Smith and Hayes. “The Legislature is considering job creation measures, education reforms, transportation proposals and other issues,” said Smith, R-Clinton. “It is important we receive input from constituents on these difficult issues, and it is a great opportunity to connect with residents spread out across our legislative district.”
